Not only are Fridays fun, but so is SUMMER! And with summer comes camping...and with camping comes campers, and with campers comes actually BUYING them (can you see where I'm going with this?)...and YES, can you believe it? We might be buying one of these campers
within the next few weeks. Yeah, I know, I can't believe it either. I've wanted one for awhile and Dave is finally feeling the need for one too. His thing every day now is "So do you think we should get a camper?" And my reply is usually ROLLING my eyes, because he KNOWS I want one so badly and he still asks! The funny thing is now that he is shopping for one, he want a big fancy one and all I wanted from the beginning was a bed to sleep in...hehe You get the idea. Yay for campers and camping.
The best FUN of the week was yesterday which just happened to be my sweet little Ally's 3rd birthday! I had planned to have a huge party and decorations and all, but as the day got closer the party got smaller and the decorations didn't get done, and yeah, her birthday came anyway!! (Have I mentioned that having two babies has been a little bit of an adjustment for me?) So we got the family together, got pizza, took a pretty cake Dave's mother-in-law made, and called it good. Still TONS of fun! Just not that fancy. Ally enjoyed herself a lot as you can see. :)
And here's the beautiful strawberry shortcake cake her grandma made for her...
I'm just SO thankful for my girl. I CAN'T believe that she is already three!! My does time fly when you're having fun! I love LOVE love that girl. She is the best thing that ever happened to me and I do thank God for BOTH of my girls every day. They are the best FUN anyone could ever have. Which reminds me, here is the sweetest most recent picture of my crazy and darling little Whitney. You would NOT believe the FUN she is having crawling around now. She pretty much gets around wherever she wants to.
So here's what Ally got for her birthday (from mommy and daddy). She loves it. Of course, she's in love with turquoise just like I am!! (maybe a little brainwashed, but she says it's her favorite color!)
Last night after she got it, she leaned her head back, put her feet up, and said, "Now I can 'lax"!! Kids are so funny!
I actually got one cool project done this week. You can check out my Crafty Picture Frame HERE. I had so much FUN making it since I pretty much just did whatever I wanted. I love how it turned out, especially since I am planning to make one of those pretty picture walls in my hallway.
My Dad and Mom have the most hilarious, kinda scary, kinda creepy, kinda weird, and totally awesome story they told me of their adventure a few days ago. (Yes, in the beautiful MT mountains where I grew up) It's one of those things you hear and say "yeah right, that only happens in the movies", type of story, but it's true!! It will definitely be appearing on my blog within the next few weeks, so be sure to stop back to hear it. All I will tell you is that it involved a bear, an elk, a suburban, and my dad, and that's ALL I will tell you. You'll have to come back to hear more. :)
So that's OUR fun for the week!! Hope your week had lots of fun and adventure in it too!! Thanks for stopping by. :)

I am so excited you guys are getting a camper... it's going to be so much fun!
Hard to believe Ally is 3 and the girls are soon to follow. She is really starting to look so much older. And the cake... she did an awesome job on that.
