I've been having fun with my new themed days here on the blog.
Mondays I am doing A Touch of Vintage and Thursdays I am doing Specially for Kids.

So far I've made a fun Crayon Canvas and a Retro Tray Redo.  Two absolutely fun and easy projects!

It's fun to have a theme and helps me stay focused.  Hope you can come by and visit sometime.

It's Tuesday again!!  Yay for Turquoise Lovin'!

I hope you all had a beautiful Easter.  I am kinda sad to see it go.  Easter is one of my VERY favorite holidays. 

The girls had an awesome time egg hunting and egg dying.  And I don't know how many times we read the Easter story.  Never get tired of that!  Ally knows it backwards and forwards now.

The new system seemed to work ok, though I was really hoping more "regular" projects would link up too.  Hmmm, guess we'll just have to advertise more, huh?

I think what I'm going to do {at least for awhile} is do the normal turquoise lovin' linkup, and then at the end, put up another link for the rest of the projects.  How does that sound?

That way you can link up whether you have turquoise or not.
{I may eventually put everything in color categories...not sure yet.}

But for now, just one change at a time. {grin}

Turquoise Lovin' #30

Can you believe this is the 30th Turquoise Lovin' party already?  WOW!!

I hope you've enjoyed all of the turquoise beauty as much as I have in the past thirty weeks.  And the little bit of red that comes every once in awhile.

Speaking of which, I have a question for all of you.  Seeing that this party has been going on for such a long time now, and that it hasn't really grown as much as I hoped it would...I'm just wondering if everyone is enjoying it enough to keep it going?

The thing is...every week I end up having to search all of the turquoise projects out and invite people to join, OR the party ends up like last week, teeny weeny.  {I had no time to invite last week}

It's not that I mind inviting and searching for turquoise every week, but sometimes I feel like I am BEGGING people to join and there's nothing I hate more than being a big bother.  And it seems like if the party isn't HUGE when someone links up, they tend to not come back again.  Especially the bigger blog owners.

Get what I'm saying?  People won't come unless there are LOTS of other people coming, but how can we grow the party if no one will come??? What do you think?  I need some feedback if you wouldn't mind.

I've always LOVED old shutter redos.  These ones are especially gorgeous from Ode to Inspiration.  Love the stencils on them so much.

Cherished Bliss made the cutest Wooden spools ribbon storage I have ever seen!  So adorable!

And this bathroom redo is gorgeous at Handmade Mayhem.  

I think I might do this with MY bathroom sometime.

It's time for Turquoise Lovin' again!!  SO much fun stuff out there this week.

I am having such a hard time accepting that Valentine's Day is gone now.  Boohoo.  It's SO easy to decorate for Valentine's Day since my very favorite colors go SO well with the day.

I love the hearts and the roses and the sweetness that comes with it too. That's why I LOVE this Valentine's Day coffee and donuts decor from Homespun with Love.

Make the Best of Things came up with the cutest cubby shelves I've see for awhile.  I love the shabby look she gave them and the bright colored turquoise is amazing!!

Happy Valentine's Day!! 

What a FUN day to have a party!! ;)  This is one of my favorite days of the year.  I love all of the hearts and mushy stuff and chocolates and everything else that goes along with this day.

And I am SO excited that I finished my Valentine Ladder just in time for today.  It's so festive and fun to look at.

My hubby surprised me with some chocolates and an adorable stuffed monkey(I collect them) this morning!!  I LOVE this day!!!  Hopefully we can have a little date later this evening.

It's time for Turquoise Lovin' again.  Yay!!  I get so excited about this time of the week.  You ladies are so much fun to party with!!

I had fun making some Valentine's Subway Art this week.  I love how it turned out.  Hope you have a chance to check it out.

Ok, so this week has been a bit a lot frustrating as I have been hearing about all of the changes that Google is going to be making.  I hope some of it that I am hearing is not true, but I'm sure it is. 

First of all, WHY in the WORLD would they get rid of Picnik?  It's super easy and fun, and I can't imagine anything else replacing it.  Ugh!!

And if this part is true, why in the world would they get rid of the follower button?  I know followers aren't everything per say, but really they ARE everything.  I personally like to know how many people are interested in what I write and I really don't think Google + is going to replace that.

PLUS, it means we have to start ALL over again, and I can't even imagine that, seeing I have worked SO hard to get where I am.  To tell you the REAL truth, I am SO tired of learning new programs, it would be nice if something stayed the same for awhile.  {And for ME to say that, WOW!!  I am the queen of loving the new stuff}

I know...I'm sorry for going on a rant, but I just have to get it out somewhere.  Maybe it won't be as bad as I think!!  Anyone else as discouraged as I am?

It's turquoise lovin' time again!!  Glad to have you back.

I've been busy writing about Goals and Plans lately and also started to write about my very first goal, Menu Planning.  It's a great time of year to re-organize the house and come up with brand new ways to keep the house clean.

Having two little ones can make this a little challenging for me, but I am finding ways to get by and make things work even with babies hanging on my legs all day.

I always get excited to see the new turquoise you come up with each week.  It never gets old, let me tell ya!

It's time for Turquoise Lovin' again.  And time to share your GORGEOUS projects with each other. 

I don't know about you, but we are having the BEST weather we have had for awhile.  I know it may catch up with us later, but for now the sunshine is very welcome!!  We've been having 40 degree days in January.  Wow!  I still can't believe it.  We usually have below zero temperatures at this time of year.
