Yummy LOVES

Anyone that knows me very well knows that I am a lover of all things sweet.  I can't think of a sweet treat that I wouldn't gladly welcome into my house.  OR into my mouth rather!!  HA.

So my lovin' today is going to be centered around fall yummy treats that I found recently on Pinterest.  Talk about YUM!  Fall food is so extremely awesome.

Whatever these are, they look scrumptious!!

I need to make some bread bowls

LOVE carameled apples

Monkey bread!

Coffee cake

I thought these s'more bars look especially yum

A tasty dip for apples

I need me some apple crisp or pie!

Don't they just make your mouth water?  If you'd like
to pin these pins too, you can check out my

Hope your day is full of fall fun! (Almost a tongue twister there!)

Turquoise Lovin' #6

Fall is kicking in full-swing now, and I am seeing tons of browns, oranges, blacks, etc, and a lot less of turquoise.  I am hoping this gorgeous color doesn't disappear for fall and winter.  REALLY hoping...

So this next week I am challenging all of you turquoise lovers to see if you can bring turquoise back into your fall decor.  I know I love the orange/turquoise combo which I wrote about here if you need some inspiration. Pinterest is also an awesome place to find cool ideas for making fun fall decorations! I am wanting to make a turquoise/orange centerpiece as soon as I get a chance to go shopping.  I would love to see what all of you can come up with!! How about it?

With all of that being said, I still found a ton of you who are loving turquoise even during the fall days!!  And I had a blast looking through all of the fantastic projects you linked up this past week.

Here are the gorgeous features of the week!!

Two butterflies did the coolest kitchen redo!  I am hoping MY kitchen can look like that someday. I am LOVING the vintage blue table from The Project Queen.  I always like furniture redos.  Can't believe how fun the stenciled curtains are from Creative Outlets.  And last but not least, adorable retro owl pillows that were made at Designs By Kasia.  You ladies rock!!!  I am so impressed.

And now I am SO looking forward to seeing what you all have been up to this week!!  Hope you enjoy looking through the links as much as I do!! {Just a clarification: this is technically a Tuesday linky party but sometimes I get excited and start it on Monday nights!}

Happy happy turquoise lovin'!!

Sweet Little Photo Swap #14

Happy Photo Swap time!  Thank you so much for your photo swap prep input.  I really appreciate your participation. Seeing I didn't get a whole lot of feedback either way though, I may just keep the party the same for awhile.  We'll see.  I am a very spontaneous person by nature, so I like to be able to change things up whenever I want to!!

This past week we spent a whole day at my in-laws place picking pumpkins.  My mother-in-law grows pumpkins to sell so that she can give money to build churches in India.  It's a cool project.  So once a year we all get together (lots of people) and pick, wash, load, everything it takes to harvest pumpkins.  And I am one of the cooks since I have babies.  So everything gets done somehow!  This year she broke her record and harvested 5000 pumpkins!!  It was amazing!  {I'm pretty sure God blesses that patch extra-special since it is being used for His work.}

Here are some pictures I happened to grab from the day.  I hope you enjoy them.  (I had a few more than ten that I wanted to show you, so I hope you don't mind!)

The kids had a blast with the "gourd balls"!

Bins, and bins, and bins of them!

This is how the shop looked with all of them in it!

Photo swap prep

Ok, so tomorrow is the photo swap party and I wanted to talk about a few important things with you.

First of all, I wanted to remind everyone to get your photo swap posts ready so you can link up tomorrow!!  So for one, this is a reminder to TAKE pictures today so you can post them and link them up!!

And secondly, I wanted to ask you a few things about the party rules.
I have been having this party for almost 14 weeks now, and I for one am having a blast taking and posting pictures.  {AND, I have literally spent HOURS and HOURS searching for photo bloggers of all types in hopes of finding some peeps like me who are wanting to swap pictures just for fun.  And I have invited everyone too.}

However, from the response I have gotten (or lack thereof) I am wondering what you all are thinking of the party.  Do you like it the way it is or would you be more likely to link up if I changed a few things? Hundreds of you know about the party now and have linked up a few times, but I can't seem to keep a steady stream of linkers (is that a word?) coming by to join.

Would it be easier if I asked for only one or two pics instead of 5-10?  Do some people think that only certain types of photographers are welcome at the party? (just so you know, ALL photographers are welcome).  Do you have a hard time taking pictures throughout your week?

Would it be more interesting if I changed things up a bit and asked for certain types of pictures such as pics of sunsets, pics of objects, pics of trees, weather, you name it.  You know, like a lot of the other photo parties do.  (The only reason I have done it my way is so that it would be easy for anyone to link up.)

I would LOVE it if you would give me some feedback.  I am still trying to figure this blogger thing out, and I most certainly want to know if I am breaking some cardinal bloggy rules.  PLEASE let me know what you all think alright?

It would help me out a lot!!

And I really hope to see your pictures linked up here on Sunday!!!  Cuz' I wanna have fun!

Sweetest Inspiration

How many of you have a difficult time doing your devotions every day?  I know I do, and so this morning I decided to start a another blog specifically for that purpose.  I am going to write some devotional thoughts on there {hopefully every day} or when I get a chance,  and hopefully that will inspire me to do them more often.

Sweet Little Gals is still going to be alive and well, but now I have somewhere else where I can specifically do devotional writing.

So I thought I'd share my new blog with you, if you like to read about inspirational topics. { Just so you know, I am not a perfect writer or anything but I enjoy doing it.}

So if you'd like to share in my new adventure you can go to my blog Sweetest Inspirations.

And my inspiration for the day on here are the following beautiful quotes I found on Pinterest

Hope you have an inspirational day!

Sweet Little Photo Swap #13

It's Sunday again and time for another photo swap! Sweet Little Photo Swap is a fun time to pick your favorite photos and share them with others.  And the best thing about it is it helps us to remember to take pictures each week!!  I love that.  I was so happy to have some new "swappers" this past week.  Hope all of you can link up again and share your lovely pictures with us.

We had so much fun in Montana this past week with all of my family.  It was SO sad to leave.  But I am always happy for the memories and the chance to keep them all inside my camera.  We were able to explore a lot and even got to go on a boat ride.  Needless to say, the kids really had a blast.  Hope you enjoy these pictures from our time there.

We took a boat ride through the Gates of the Mountains.  It was a two hour guided tour and a lot of fun.  I would love to take our own boat through there someday.   I just love these mountains.  I just can't seem to get enough of them!

It was spectacular
