DIY 4th of July Cooler

I found this really FUN idea for a juice cooler in a magazine and I thought I'd try to make it.  Here's how I did it, and I hope you think it's as awesome as I do!


I bought one of these planters from Wal-Mart



And spray painted it a light turquoise color...




Then I spray painted a rectangle chipboard with chalkboard paint...
And used a chalk ink pen to make it cute!





Then I took my fun Jones' sodas I have been saving 
for the 4th...






...and put them inside of the container to look like this!







I added the juice sign to it...



And here is the finished product!!

I even added a ribbon!!

Now you have a cooler!!  Just pour in some ice
to keep your drinks cool by the lakeside.  :)  Awesome huh?




I LOVE how it turned out.  (And I promise I will
show you what it looks like when I add 
ice to it come Monday!!)  Happy 4th!
