Sweet Little Photo Swap #8

Welcome to the 8th Sweet Little Photo Swap!  LOVE swappin' photos and seeing what all of you have been up to this week.  And this time I'm going to try something new and do a photo caption party.  We'll see if it works.  *wink*  (I've also been thinking about doing photo features, but I think I will wait till the party grows a bit more.)

Fun Stuff

This week has been CRAZY busy.  It seems like we were doing something non-stop every day.  Ever have days/weeks like that?  :)

On Monday my good friend Melissa and I brought our kids to the local college campus and took pictures of them.  (Melissa's husband is Dave's first cousin.  It's fun to have family/friends that fit in both categories.)  And we both have girls so that makes it even more enjoyable.  Though I'm no pro, Melissa asked me to take pictures of her Natalie who just turned a year old.  So this was technically my very first unofficial photo shoot, ha!  And boy was I nervous! 

And wow was it hard to take pictures of someone else's baby.  She definitely didn't
want to stop for more than a second at a time.  LOL
(I will have to learn some sneaky tricks for next time.)
I DID get a few cute shots though...yay!

Tea Party Love

Remember those FUN old times when you used to play together with your little girlfriends?  I don't know about you, but some of my favorites of those times were spent having a good ol' fashioned tea party.  It just made ya feel kinda grown up.  Ahh those were the days.  Now I often wonder why I wanted to grow up so much.  Those days were so carefree and I often wish I had them back. 

Well, today I want to go back in time, and remind us of some of those good old memories .  I just LOVE my new Pinterest board that I named Tea Party Love.  Here are some of my fun tea party pins from the week!
