DIY Family Easter Crates {and Centerpiece}

I am so excited for Easter!!  I just ADORE everything about this holiday.

One of my very favorite parts of Easter is putting together Easter baskets to give as gifts.

This year I decided to do something a little bit different and put together some Easter Crates.  I like how they turned out and hope you can find some inspiration from them too.

First, I started out with some small crates and painted them.  Then I added some plain and colored Easter grass to each of them.

I adore the bright colors for Spring...turquoise, melon, yellow, and spring green.  I always buy my craft paints from Benjamin Moore.  LOVE their shades.

I put a list and pictures of each of my baskets and what I put in them so you can see each item, plus the basket all put together.  Hope you enjoy looking. {grin}  There are LOTS of pictures!

Sara -- I just LOVE these! Funny, I just did a post about Easter containers. I am not a fan of the typical basket and grass. This is SO adorable? Do you mind if I share this on my post? I will link back to you.

Hi Sara, I just did a post too on Easter but it reflected the Symbols of Easter (i.e. the cross, praying hands, lamb). I had found some amazingly talented bloggers who created these same symbols using candy molds. I'm not that creative so I looked for candy already made that I could buy.

Love your beautifully colored crafts. They really pop on the monitor!
