{Spring} Chalkboard Banners

I've been working on these chalkboard banners for SO long now, I'm excited I finally get to share them!

It seems like everything kept going of the girls would get into them and I'd have to rewrite them {ugh!}, or I had to wait for chalkboard paint to come in the mail, or...yeah, you get the idea!!

Sometimes crafting is crazy for me, but eventually it gets done!

So here are my chalkboard banners and I love them.

I love chalk no matter what, and it's really fun to work with.

All I did was spray paint my wooden pennants {from Pick Your Plum!} with chalkboard paint, treat them with a bit of white chalk, and write on them.

The writing part was harder than I thought it would be!  I made sure to sharpen my chalk and that seemed to make it much easier.  Then I made some fancy squiggly lines around the edges to add some flair.

I used a combo of red, yellow, and green for springy colors.

To finish off the banners, I tied them with some yellow baker's twine.  LOVE that stuff!

And here is the finished product.

 Happy Spring to everyone!
