Turquoise Lovin' #30

Can you believe this is the 30th Turquoise Lovin' party already?  WOW!!

I hope you've enjoyed all of the turquoise beauty as much as I have in the past thirty weeks.  And the little bit of red that comes every once in awhile.

Speaking of which, I have a question for all of you.  Seeing that this party has been going on for such a long time now, and that it hasn't really grown as much as I hoped it would...I'm just wondering if everyone is enjoying it enough to keep it going?

The thing is...every week I end up having to search all of the turquoise projects out and invite people to join, OR the party ends up like last week, teeny weeny.  {I had no time to invite last week}

It's not that I mind inviting and searching for turquoise every week, but sometimes I feel like I am BEGGING people to join and there's nothing I hate more than being a big bother.  And it seems like if the party isn't HUGE when someone links up, they tend to not come back again.  Especially the bigger blog owners.

Get what I'm saying?  People won't come unless there are LOTS of other people coming, but how can we grow the party if no one will come??? What do you think?  I need some feedback if you wouldn't mind.

For the party features I am including a few of my favorite projects from the past TWO weeks.  I hope you don't mind.  Since I missed the week before there were some projects I felt were feature worthy and I just couldn't pass them by without noticing them.

{Oh and if you wanna get in on something really fun, you really should enter my Apples and Oats Giveaway}

1.  Gorgeous Spring Mantel from Ode to Inspiration

2.  Fresh Laundry Room Redo at Start at Home

3.  Fun Updated Table at Chantilly Charm

4.  Adorable Spring Mantel at Fox Hollow Cottage

And as always, thanks to all for linking up every week.  I sure do wish I
could feature every one of your projects!!

Ok, it's time to party!!  Time to link up YOUR turquoise love for the week!!

Thanks for the invite!! I'm all linked up. Just for the record, I didn't find your link up request to be a bother! :) But, I can see how time consuming it would be to go through that every week. Yikes!

I don't know if I have any advice. Except, maybe consider opening the party to all projects and then have a special linking place (but during the same time and at the same party) for just turquoise?? That way, lots of people will come, but you'll still the turquoise love in one place. Would that work?? Just throwing an idea out there! :)

Hi Sara! I am visiting for the first time! I agree with the comment above...I think you should change the party to include everything....since the theme of turqouise, although beautiful, is very limiting! You invited me to the party, but if my future post have no turqouise then I can't come back and then soon I will forget about your site and party because there is SO much competition out there for parties! Just a thought! Have a wonderful week! Angie xo

I always welcome your party invites. I agree with another commenter about maybe finding a co-host for your party.

Thanks Sara for featuring my spring mantel!

I have no experience with being a hostess but as a linker I do agree with Emily and Angie. I LOVE turquoise but I don't always craft with that color so I miss out on your party when I don't have anything to link up.
