I'll have to show you my book shelves sometime. REALLY.
My house is FULL of books. TO the brim.
Barns and Noble is my weakness. Don't take me there unless you want to stay for a few hours {or more}.
Lucky for my, I have passed on the tradition of loving books to at least one of my babies.
As a toddler, Ally would sit by the book shelf and "read" all the books for at least half an hour at a time. That's quite awhile for a toddler I'd say.
{Whitney just started to like books too, so I'm thrilled! She's in a kitty phase right now...hehe}
Not only do I LOVE books, I believe they are super important in life. Books are such a great way to learn about every subject I can think of and I can't imagine life without them.
Anyone else a book lover out there?
Since I'm always browsing for books for my girls, I thought today would be a great day to share some fun SPRING books that I've come across.
Ally is in LOVE with Strawberry Shortcake, so we have LOTS of Strawberry books and movies. One of my favorite spring Strawberry Shortcake books is
A Fresh and Fruity Spring
This book talks about friends helping friends and I love all of the strawberry books
because they always teach good moral values.
Everything Spring
LOVE this one!! It's full of gorgeous nature pictures and SO fun
for the little ones. Whitney especially likes this one!
Frog and Toad All Year
I'm sure EVERYONE has heard of Frog and Toad books. I can't
think of any better books than these. They are SO hilarious. I seriously can't
read through even one story without laughing out loud!
Mouse's First Spring
Follow a darling little mouse as he explores
all of the beautiful things that spring carries with it.
Adorable book with darling pictures!
Spring is Here
Cute little story about a bear and a mole discovering spring
together. Funny too!
Home for a Bunny
This one has to be my absolute FAVORITE spring book
in the whole world!! The girls just love it. I remember growing up
reading it, and I'm so excited they have it back in print now!
All of these books can be purchased on good 'ol Amazon.com
Love that place!
Happy day and Happy Spring!!
