Cute DIY Ornaments

In case I haven't told anyone, I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere.  And I love living in the country in the middle of nowhere, most of the time.
I love the freedom,
I love that no one ever can see in my window,
I love it that I can go outside and SCREAM at the top of my lungs
and nobody can hear me.

Yep, I am pretty much a country girl, for the most part...

Except for that I LOVE SHOPPING!!!  A lot.   So I get kind of annoyed that my little town I live by doesn't even have a Hobby Lobby.  I hate that.
I LOVE Hobby Lobby.  I want Hobby Lobby in my back yard. REALLY.

So yesterday I couldn't take it anymore and I packed the girls in the pickup, and we made our way to Hobby Lobby.  And had a complete blast!!  And bought the whole store!  Ha.  Not really, but we had to get stocked up since we live almost two hours away. {Besides for the flat tire we found after we came out of the store, everything went well.  Maybe it was sympathizing with our credit card...ha!}

And Ally and I made these really fun ornaments last night and this morning.  I think they turned out really awesome!

All we did is take some ribbon, yarn, gift ribbons, and pom poms and put it inside of the ornaments. And there you have it, REALLY easy DIY ornaments!

Ahhh, isn't Christmas so much fun!!  Now to hang them on the tree!

Ha! Oh, Sara ... that was a good story!
Sorry about your flat tire though! :-/ What a bummer.
And I can't believe you're 2 hours from a craft store!? That's kinds crazy, girl! ... I'm in the country, but not THAT in the country! :)~

And gotta love those plain glass ornaments ... I have done about a hundred different things with them with my kinders over the years for parent gifts! (I've switched to salt dough ornaments the last few years though -- the kids LOVE making those!!!)
We're actually making them tomorrow .... flour EVERYWHERE!!!!!
love ya

What fun! I saw some ornaments today with a colored feather in each, and almost got them, but then decided it would be torture for our kitties!

Love them! I like that you used so many different materials. I'm going to pin this and make some for next year when the bulbs are on sale. :)
