~Almond Chocolate Milk~

 

With one of my favorite meals...

Beans, rice, and big franks!

Mmmm...YUMMY!!

Italian Sauce

This sauce is YUMMY and can be used on bread to make mini pizzas, or noodles, rice, etc.  This is how I make it! 

Start by cutting green onions...

 Then take some portobella mushrooms

and slice them in small pieces

Saute green onions and mushrooms in small amount of oil

 Add olives...

Then add some Italian seasoning and salt...

Then add tomatoes...

Simmer till juice is evaporated...

Turn off burner and sprinkle on some cheese...

 Enjoy on a piece of toasted bread!!

This is such a quick and delicious supper

and you can make add or delete any of the 

ingredients to your liking!

Writer's Block

I was thinking the other day...hmmmm, blogs are for writing aren't they, not just for posting pictures?  I used to write all of the time...Even when I was pretty young, I could be found on the back porch or in my room, writing poems, stories, you name it!

Lately I have been stumped, or maybe experiencing what is called writer's block...I have nothing to write about.  Not that my life isn't interesting.  Maybe I wrote too much in college and am just burned out!  Or maybe I just can't think of anything to write about that would interest anyone else. So for right now I have been blogging in pictures, cuz that seems to be the best way I can describe my life...

These two little beautiful girls ARE pretty much my life now...

 These two little girls are my world!!  So much fun, so full of love, giggles, kisses, and hugs!  Yes, full of poop, messes, whining, and sleep deprivation too, but still SO much more love than I could have ever imagined!  

SO...someday maybe I'll think of something to write about again...maybe when I've had enough sleep to start thinking straight. ;)  But for now I'll just enjoy the plump little hands around my neck and whispers in my ear of "I love you Mommy" along with tiny first smiles greeting me and trusting eyes looking at me with love...

Thank you God for my life...as it is RIGHT NOW!
